Happy Wednesday Hockey Fans,

While we await details and information from Hockey Canada and BC Hockey about return to play procedures and guidelines, we thought we would drop you a line and share some updates with you.

 Hockey Canada Division Titles

You may have heard that Hockey Canada has changed their division names. WMHA will be following their mandate and have renamed our divisions accordingly. Please see below.

Registration Update

We hope to have details from Hockey Canada and BC Hockey about the structure of the upcoming season soon which will help us set our registration fees and deadlines. Stay tuned for registration date communication.

AGM and Board Elections

The 2020 WMHA Annual General Meeting and Elections is set for Wednesday August 19^th. Please save the date. Meeting format and details will be sent out to the membership once they have been confirmed- in addition to a list of the board positions.

Yukon Hockey Academy

Registration for Yukon Hockey Academy is still on going. We hope to be creative and work with the Yukon Health Authorities as well as Hockey Canada/BC Hockey to provide a summer hockey experience for our athletes. Click here for more details.

*Please ensure your coach qualifications are up to date and in line with what you are applying for. We are attempting to reschedule the Coach 1, 2 and Dev 1 courses that were to be held in Whitehorse this spring and we are hoping that BC Hockey is able to fulfill this commitment.
